ATC Traffic Cabinets
One of the primary design objectives with the ATC cabinet was safety, for both drivers and maintenance personnel. To that end, the cabinet has been designed to safeguard users from accidental shock hazard for components greater than 48V by utilizing touch safe components and guarding high voltage connections. Along with the standard voltage monitoring, the ATC cabinet also includes current monitoring to improve driver safety in the event of a conflict situation. The efficient use of space and advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic features make the ATC cabinet series the smart choice for the future of traffic control.
33X Series Traffic Cabinets
The 33X Series Cabinets are built to conform to the widely-used Caltrans TEES standards. This cabinet style features a 19″ rack for mounting the equipment in the cabinet. The 33X Cabinets utilize rack-mount equipment for the output file, input files, PDA, and other components that are mounted in the cabinet. This makes it simple to install rack mount equipment like Ethernet switches, fiber panels, shelves, and more. The cabinets all feature both front and rear doors to access both sides of the racks.
NEMA Traffic Cabinets
The NEMA series of cabinets feature shelf-mount components built to the popular NEMA TS1 and TS2 standards. The NEMA style utilizes shelf or wall-mounted components for the load bay, power panel, detector panel, and detector rack. The front door features a weatherproof compartment for police access on the outside of the cabinet, and technician test switches on the inside of the cabinet. These cabinets can be built with a single door, or with front and rear doors. MoboTrex has numerous options available in the NEMA style cabinets.
UL Listed NEMA Enclosures
MoboTrex manufactures a range of UL Listed NEMA Cabinets and Enclosures including the common 1, 3R and 4 type Cabinets.
Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) is a privately owned and operated, independent third-party product safety testing and certification organization with more than 1,000 standards for safety. These standards ensure safety and improves the quality of the enclosure. We produce standard and custom electrical enclosures that comply with UL standards to give you a high-quality, UL listed enclosure.
