AI & Sensor Fusion 2.0 Launches in Iteris Vantage Apex

Iteris has released a new firmware update, Sensor Fusion 2.0, for the Vantage Apex detection platform.

This latest version enhances the hybrid HD-video and 4D/HD-radar sensor by intelligently combining radar and video data with AI algorithms, achieving vehicle detection accuracy above 99% even in challenging conditions like glare, fog, or occlusion.

The update also adds features such as port forwarding, count‑zone delay, red‑light violation outputs, hold/reject-call functions, and improved cybersecurity tools.

Together, these enhancements aim to boost traffic detection reliability, safety, and operational efficiency for traffic engineers and system integrators.
