Our Intelligent Mobility Story
Our focus on intelligent mobility began on Day 1 in 1969 when we began as Roger Brown Sales Agency serving the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) industry in Minnesota and Iowa.
In 1976, William J. Schiltz purchased the company and expanded the sales territory to Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. Over the next several decades, the company expanded geographically and through acquisitions.
In 2024, MoboTrex was acquired by Warren Equity Partners. Today we proudly serve customers in all 50 states and many locations in Canada.

Acquired Riddle Control Products of Minneapolis, Minnesota

Entered the Illinois market with an office in the Chicagoland area, currently located in Volo, Illinois

Purchased Eagle Traffic Control Systems from Siemens and created a manufacturing facility in Austin, Texas
2014
Established MoboTrex distribution in Texas
2016
Rebranded the company to MoboTrex, which was derived from our brand promise to be your mobility and traffic experts

MoboTrex Mid-Atlantic formed after acquiring RGA in Richmond, Virginia
